I ordered the Bourbon advent calendar this year. Have previously ordered the Sparkling Wine. Every one of the tiny bourbon bottles (all plastic except 2 glass) was dusty and rolling around in their compartments. Glad I ordered it for myself and not as a gift because the packaging and presentation is lackluster. Sparking Wine one was better, maybe because the bottles fit the slots better? Someone wiped the bottles down before assembling? Not sure but bourbon advent calendar presentation was disappointing. I'd recommend putting something in the slots with the bottles to keep them more secure and presentable (maybe tissue paper?). Haven't tried the bourbon samples yet but I'm sure they will be fine. Seems like a good variety but note I'm a Bourbon novice.
Ordered a Christmas gift in November to make sure I was able to order before stock ran out. No place on the order form to schedule delivery so utilized chat function. Was told to add delivery preference in comments which I did. Item shipped early November to recipient - how embarrassing to have a 12-days of Christmas gift sent in November. Emailed customer service - no response. Hoping the other "scheduled" gift hasn't shipped. Wouldn't order from again.
I wish the bottles had some padding around them, so the box itself could be turned up and/or over for wrapping and transport without the bottles being all over the place in the presentation box.
The advent box itself is nice with great bourbons but there isn’t any info about the bourbon selections . Not even a receipt or packing info, box is large for the small bottles and they kinda get lost could use some crinkle paper in each opening or something to dress it up !
